It is a classic fall day today with the air cooling down and many colors coming from the leaves.
I will probably be running the heater soon in my flat.
I am going to wrap up work a little early today and take my music to the sand. I will bring my drum and do some drumming practice on the beach. I have to train a client later in the afternoon so I want to get some relaxation time before meeting up for that. He is an HVAC workman and he wants to get in shape this winter and lose his big beer belly. I told him if he really is serious about losing the weight then he is going to have to modify his diet in an extreme sort of way. Working at the HVAC company each day he does a lot of deskwork and sits for most of the day. I told him he needs to start walking a few miles a day to make up for all of the sitting he does in the workday. I work with him sometimes, doing smart thermostat programming for customers and repairing old heat pumps in their homes. He and I have been friends for a while and I would love to see him lose all of that fat and get in shape. I am going to the local business today to buy some more workout equipment so that we can do more when we meet for our exercise program. I think if he puts his mind to it he can be in great shape within six or so months. We shall see.
