If you watch cable in the last 20 years you have entirely heard of Angie’s List.

This is supposedly a local service that recommends high quality corporations and service professionals in your part based on users’ verified experiences.

However, I think that I should entirely start a competing service that’s called Andy’s list. My list would only include all of the people that you shouldn’t hire for the task, because that’s generally who I wind up doing company with. I don’t know how to explain it, but I have a penchant for hiring the worst service professionals you can imagine. Most recently, this was the case when I attempted to retrofit my old Victorian house with brand modern central heating and cooling. When I called out the nearest heating and cooling service shop, I made sure that I diagnosed all of their online reviews. All of their prior customers and that they had fine experiences with the air quality control workers and the advanced indoor air handling unit that they specialized in. I thought that 200 5-star reviews was fine enough evidence for me that the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C service shop could handle my hard heating and cooling service task. Boy, was I wrong. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional who showed up at my condo seems like she had no idea what she was doing. As they were installing the air duct throughout my historic walls, I heard a lot of disturbing banging and scratching. After days of supposedly installing my central heating and cooling system along with a smart control unit, my house seems like it had less indoor air quality control than ever. After they went overtime and over budget with the entire Heating, Ventilation plus A/C project, I had to call another heating and cooling dealer to repair everything that they had botched. Wouldn’t you know, the next Heating, Ventilation plus A/C dealership didn’t do any better.

I can’t believe that I actually dropped my heater down the stairs.

It makes me so mad to think that I was that careless.

I decided to carry the heater on my own even though it was a little too heavy for me to carry by myself. It is a propane heater that is quite large. My husband has no problem carrying it by himself, so I thought for sure that I could carry it with no problems by myself. I picked up the heater, and I soon realized that it was much heavier than I thought that it would be. I should have stopped right then and waited for my husband to move the heater for me, but I was too prideful to wait for help. I carried it to the kitchen with no problem. I set it down in there to take a little break. Again, I should have just left it there and waited for my husband, but I picked the large heater back up and started carrying it out to the garage. There is a flight of stairs leading down to our garage, and I knew that it would be hard carrying it down those stairs because the heater was so big that I could not see where I was stepping. Well, I missed a step and basically threw the heater down the steps as I was trying to catch myself. It was super scary, and I am glad that I didn’t fall down the stairs with it. The heater did not work after that fall either which made matters even worse. I had to tell my husband all about the heater experience when he got home, and it was so embarrassing.

I have dropped a lot of things lately.

It has been quite frustrating to me because I am not usually a clumsy person.

I rarely drop things. I dropped a pot of chili while walking down my sidewalk a few days ago. I broke the dish that it was in, and I spilt the chili everywhere. It was quite a mess. It looked like someone threw up all over the sidewalk. That was not nearly as bad as what happened on Tuesday. I was trying to move my air conditioner downstairs, and I ended up dropping it down the attic steps. I was so upset. It broke a big chunk of plastic off of the air conditioner, and it looks pretty homely. Thankfully, the air conditioner still works just fine. It just doesn’t look as nice anymore. I actually decided to put the air conditioner in my bedroom instead of putting it in the living room like I usually do just because I am embarrassed of how it looks. I have friends over all of the time, and I am sure that one of them if not all of them would have asked about what happened to my air conditioner if I would have put it in the living room for everyone to see. Now, I am the only one who has to see the hideous looking air conditioning in my bedroom. Even though I am upset with myself for being so clumsy and dropping the air conditioner down the stairs, I am super thankful that it still works, and I don’t have to buy another one.

My room is nice and cool each night

I have had trouble with my air conditioner for a few months now. It keeps going through phases where it works great and phases where it doesn’t work at all. I have no idea what is wrong with the silly thing. A few weeks ago, I went to bed in a nice cool room, and I woke up in a really warm room. It was probably around four o’clock in the morning when I woke up. I checked the thermostat in my room, and it said that my room was about eighty-five degrees. I could not believe that it was that warm at four in the morning. I don’t think that it was even that warm outside, but my bedroom was that warm, and I could not sleep. My air conditioner was still running, but the air that was coming out of it was not cool air. It was warm air. I have no idea what went wrong. It was so hard for me to sleep the rest of that early morning. I have had that happen to me about five or six other times. It just randomly stops working. I don’t usually mess with it, I just wait for it to start blowing cold air again. It goes through periods of time where it works great for weeks, and I think that the problem is solved, but then it just stops working again. Right now, it is working great. My room is nice and cool each night. The air conditioner has been working great for about two weeks now, so I imagine that it will stop sometime very soon. I should probably invest in a new air conditioner

I finally broke down and bought a second air conditioner for my house.

I had been wanting one for about four years, but I was too cheap to buy one.

This summer has been quite a bit warmer than previous summers, so I was sick of being super warm in my house. We have had one air conditioner in our house ever since we moved in about ten years ago. We usually keep that one air conditioner in the living room. I have moved it into my husband’s and my bedroom the night before. It is really hard to sleep when you are sweating to death. I knew that if I ever got a second air conditioner, I would put it in the kitchen. The kitchen is on the opposite side of the house from the living room. As soon as I broke down and bought a second air conditioner, I installed it in the kitchen window. I cannot describe how wonderful it is to have a cool kitchen. I have never had an air conditioned kitchen before, so I had no idea how nice it would be. I actually find myself enjoying cooking now. I used to dread cooking dinner especially during the summer months because it was so hot in the kitchen that by the time I was done cooking, I looked like I had just run a marathon out in the heat. It was ridiculous. We ordered food a lot because I just could not cook in such a hot kitchen. I am so thankful for a second air conditioner.

They are making a huge mess of my living room ever since they started playing up there because of the basement issues

I recently had some pretty serious flooding issues in my basement. It was no fun at all. I had to pay a lot of money to get the basement pumped out. I had to have all new carpet put in down there, and I also had to replace some of the drywall that got damaged by the flood. I have noticed that it still seems damp down there even though everything has been repaired. I decided to buy a dehumidifier to put down there to see if it would help dry things up a bit. I really did not want to have to deal with mold or anything like that. I have been using a dehumidifier down there for about a month now, and I can say that it truly has made a significant difference. It is not nearly as moist down there since I started using that dehumidifier. I am thinking about buying a second dehumidifier for the basement. I am thinking that if one dehumidifier makes a huge difference, then, two dehumidifiers will probably solve my problem completely. I am not sure, but I am going to just go ahead and try it out. I hope that the second dehumidifier will completely solve my problem so that I can move the kids playroom down into the basement once again. They are making a huge mess of my living room ever since they started playing up there because of the basement issues. I am ready to have a clean living room once again free of children’s toys. I cannot tell you how many toys I have stepped on in the past few weeks.

I was not about to call an HVAC company again about my air conditioner

I am so thankful that I was able to find a new home. I had been wanting to buy a new home for quite awhile, but I just could not seem to find one. I looked for about a year and a half before I was able to find a nice house that fit all of my needs and wants. The house that I owned previously had a lot of issues. It was an older house, and I just did not want to bother fixing all of the issues when I didn’t even really like the house in the first place. It just wasn’t my style. My new house is exactly what I pictured myself living in. It is pretty large, and it is more of a modern style home. My favorite part about my new house is how well the air conditioning works. That may sound silly, but the air conditioning in my old house did not work well at all. It got so warm in my house that I dreaded going home after work each afternoon. I have no idea what was wrong with the air conditioner, but I knew that it would be expensive to fix. I had to call an HVAC company to fix my furnace one time, and I ended having to pay them over a thousand dollars just to replace a part that cost one hundred dollars. I was not about to call an HVAC company again about my air conditioner. I am so thankful for working AC in my new home. It is truly a huge blessing to have an air conditioned house to come home to everyday.
