It is 1pm right now and I just went out to check the mail and I felt like I was melting like a candle.
I think the temperature is 100F with the humidity so I plan on staying in the house till about 5pm and then going out to do some paver sealing.
I’m going to sit in my air conditioned room for a couple hours and write these articles with a small fan blowing beside me to keep me cooler. I am here for a little over two more weeks and then will have a drastic change when I move back to my flat in Europe with a whole different life going on over there. I have central heat and air conditioning over there, unlike a lot of my friends, and am so grateful for it. I don’t know why a lot of people over there live without AC in the summer when it only costs about $50 more a month to run it constantly. I guess they are that broke that they can’t even afford an additional fifty bucks a month, or actually fifty euros a month to be correct. I guess most of them have space heaters for the winter but I bet a lot of those heaters are very inefficient compared to my new central HVAC system. I am lucky that my landlord bought the new unit for my place a year ago and that he got one of the best and most efficient systems on the market. I will for sure need to clean my HEPA filter when I go back.
