One For All Air Conditioning

I’m getting that feeling, I’m getting hungry, and I want to eat some kefir to help my body fight off this flu.

Kefir has a lot of good bacteria that act as antibiotics and help fight infections like the one I have.

I read that if you have a fever or cough and drink it a few times in the afternoon, the antibiotics in it will kill the virus faster. I’ll try it because my roommate makes kefir every afternoon and I have a lot of it in my fridge. Last night, this fever got so bad that I was sweating like crazy. However, after taking kefir all afternoon yesterday, the fever seems to be going away. I’ll keep taking it today until the end of the afternoon and see how I feel when I wake up tomorrow. The cooling tech told me that she had a really bad cold or flu, but that after taking kefir every afternoon for about three days, she was completely better. Let’s see if it works the same way for me. If I can avoid it, I would rather not take antibiotics from a doctor or nurse because they kill all the good bacteria in the body and weaken the immune system. I have to work for my heating and cooling business next week, so I need to feel better before then. A friend of mine wants to come see me in five mornings. I’d love to see her if I’m feeling better, because she’s a fun person and I miss seeing her a lot.

I’m working on my writing while I try to get rid of the flu bug I’ve had for the last two mornings. I hope that it will stop in the next four or five mornings so that my friend can come see me while she is still in the country. She is now in another neighborhood for a dance class. She will be there for five more mornings before coming back here for a couple of mornings and then going back to Finland. Since my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech ex and I broke up, I haven’t seen her in about two years. My friend and I stayed friends, though, and I really hope to see another heating worker friend before she goes back home. I still have a few mornings to get back, so I’m trying to sleep as much as possible so that my body’s energy and immune system can knock this thing out. At night, I sleep in air-conditioned comfort so that this fever doesn’t bother me as much. My cooling system also has a HEPA filter, which may help keep the air clean at night. I’m only going to work on these articles and do yoga today. Other than that, I’m going to rest and eat healthy food to give my body the fuel it needs to get strong again. My Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) rep told me that my friend and I getting sick is a sign that our bodies need to clean themselves. He also said that when we get better, my friend and I will be stronger than we were before.

Well, I got sick yesterday for the first time in a long time, and I know it’s a sign that my body and life need to be cleaned up so I can start over.

• Things aren’t going the way I want them to in my life, and getting sick like this is a sign that my mind is under stress and needs some swings.

I’ve been alone for a year and a half and am starting to wonder if I’ll ever meet someone again. But love can come quickly, like a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system turning on, and maybe this sickness is what I need to help me move in a weird direction. I’m glad I have steady work because it’s the glue that keeps my life together. Without it, my life would fall apart. I just want my stock in a company that makes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment to go up again so I have some extra cash in case something goes wrong and I need it one afternoon. I’m trying to save money on the side so I don’t have to touch that stock, so I hope things keep going well and I can keep saving money. However, a local business is having a sale on heating and cooling filters, and I may have to splurge and buy a few for the coming hot and cold seasons. Other than that, things are going pretty well in my life, and our band will soon be playing some fun gigs in clubs around the country.

It was two mornings ago, I awoke with a fever of 101 degrees after contracting an unknown illness.

Also, two mornings ago, as I walked with a friend, I could feel the onset of illness, beginning with a sore throat and then a sinus infection. I wore myself out playing volleyball over the weekend, so I have no one but myself to blame. My friend and I come into contact with numerous individuals who are infected, but if our immune systems are strong, the pathogens are simply repelled by our bodies. But when you’re fatigued and overheated from a game of soccer, your immune system can be compromised, and it begins to cool down and not work as hard as it should… Like last night, when I slept nearly 13 hours, I will spend the next few mornings at my apartment writing articles and resting extensively. I plan to turn on the portable air conditioning system in my bedroom and go to bed early again, as I did last night. I went to bed at 9pm last night and didn’t wake up until 10 a.m. today, which was enjoyable because my body needs as much rest as possible to provide it with the energy it needs to fight this thing. I will work on my Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system all afternoon while taking breaks, and I will be able to complete it tonight before I go to sleep. Yesterday, a pleasant acquaintance was scheduled to visit, but I had to tell her she could not stay.

It’s twenty minutes after noon right now, and I’m stumbling through my workday with the flu.

It is difficult to write when your body is aching and you have a headache, but I believe I will succeed with a little patience and perseverance.

Our band finally received the contractor cards we’d been waiting for, and now my friend and I will begin the process of getting our name out there to bars and pubs to see what kind of response we get for gigs. Our goal is to perform three shows per week in air-conditioned bars during the summer, and the same in the mountains where my friend and I have a cabin during the winter. If my friend and I can pull this off, we’ll have one cool life ahead of us, which I believe is possible if my friend and I keep pushing and making modern and better tunes. The cooling corp keeps me busy each week, but not so much that I don’t have time to practice my music like most of my married and working friends. My one friend said he only has about an hour a day to himself, the rest of the time is taken up with toil in addition to house responsibilities, which I have avoided in order to become an artist. I don’t think I’d have the time or energy to devote to music like I’ve been doing for so many years if I was still running my Heating and Air Conditioning company. I will have many fond memories of taking the option in addition to getting into music at the end of my life.

I was talking about how I decided to pursue a career in the performing arts almost 20 years ago, and how it has taken me all over the world, with a lot of fond memories to boot.

I could have continued with my painting business, though I am sure I would be angry doing so and wishing I would take the option I did.

I am not famous or anything, but I believe that creating and connecting with the arts is where the true joy comes from doing it, not how many followers or how much money you have. Heating and cooling system stories provide me with an income that allows me to continue doing the arts, and I am grateful for it because I enjoy writing about space heaters and other similar topics. I would love to play music for another 25 years if my body decides it can handle it, as well as write a bunch of cool songs with my band. If the local businesses keep us performing in them, I believe my dream will come true. If I keep going for another 25 years, I will have been in show business for 45 years, which is a pretty good run considering I didn’t start until I was 38. I am writing now next to my little air purification system and will take a break in a few minutes to go out and appreciate the unquestionably cool little town that I call home. I’ll also call mom tonight if I’m feeling well enough. I’m currently suffering from the flu.

I have another 40 minutes of work left, and then I’ll take a break and go for a short bike ride. I can’t go on a long ride, however, because I’m sick and have very little energy. I just want to ride down and look at the ocean and beaches for a while, and maybe even run into a familiar face for a chat if anyone is out and about. Even though I miss my family terribly, I enjoy the life I’ve chosen to live abroad. As the owner of a heating company told me, having everything in life is difficult. He has a husbandy and children, and he works 60 hours a week at the store, leaving him with very little time to do anything else in life. He stated that he wishes he had become a musician years ago instead of pursuing the Heating and Air Conditioning system industry, but he is now obligated to do so until he is at least 70 years old due to a large number of children they are raising. He could pursue music when he is 70, though I doubt he will have enough energy to do so, which makes me nervous because he will die with the music trapped inside him. The HEPA filter salesman told me years ago to follow my dreams, and I’m glad I did instead of running my cooling company, which I was doing until the age of 38, when I decided to pursue comedy. Now that I’ve been doing the performing arts for nearly 20 years and am still relatively young at 55 years old, I believe I can make something happen before I get too old.
