I went to a really old college.
This college has been standing in my state for the last 200 years plus.
It’s a benchmark and touchstone for our state’s tradition and culture. I was really proud of myself when I was accepted to the school in the first place. This is the school I grew up rooting for whenever I watched college football games. This is also the school that I would buy merchandise from and where all sorts of T-shirts and sweaters over the years. So now to this day, I was really proud to be accepted to the school for college. Let’s just say that the dormitories were fairly old at the time and they still haven’t been upgraded to this day. The bathrooms were communal and I hated having to share showers on a regular basis.
