My new smart thermostat is really great
If you’re having problems with allergies this year, then you should try cleaning out the ductwork in your house. I know that it sounds like it might be too good to be true, but sometimes the only thing that you need to do is get your ductwork cleaned and it helps tremendously. I know that this is true because last year, I could relate with my own personal experience. I had really terrible allergies last spring and during the early summer and I was completely miserable for about two months. I went to see my allergy doctor and he gave me some regular allergy medications that he seemed to think would help me. When they didn’t really help me all that much, I went back to see him again and that’s when he suggested that I call up my local heating and cooling corporation instead. He said that sometimes, some of his patients have good luck with getting their heating and cooling ductwork cleaned out professionally. I went into the heating and cooling corporation office that I passed on my way home and I talked to someone about their ductwork cleaning procedures. When I saw all of the things that they do to get the ductwork clean, I just knew that it was going to help me out with my allergy problems. I scheduled a professional ductwork cleaning and the HVAC technician showed up the very next day to get it done for me. I can’t even tell you how helpful it has been for me! Trust me and have it done!

I just can’t figure out why my air conditioning system won’t turn on this year. There is definitely something wrong with it, that’s for sure. I really don't know all that much about heating and cooling systems at all. Basically, if the thermostat does not turn on, I know to check to make sure that the batteries are working. Other than that and changing the air filter once in a while, that is pretty much the extent of my heating and cooling knowledge. So I guess at this point, I am going to have to break down and call my local HVAC company to have them come and check out my air conditioning system for me. The weather is heating up outside, and there is no way that I'm going to be able to live through the summer without my air conditioning working. It just really gets too hot around here to try and live without air conditioning during the summer time. I wish that I could figure out what the problem is myself, though, because I don't want to have to pay for an air conditioning repair. Sometimes, though, I guess you just have to pay for a professional opinion and a professional’s knowledge. I think that heating and cooling professionals are definitely worth what they charge for repairs. I know that during the middle of the summer, I would pay just about anything to have a working central air conditioning system in my house. I’m hoping that it’s an easy fix and that they can tell me how to fix it for myself next time.

If you have an HVAC warranty, then make sure that you don’t accidentally void it by putting off regular maintenance checks the way that I did. Honestly, I still can't believe that this actually happened to me. Usually I am really good about things like this that have a time frame built into them. I have never in my life waited a warranty because of something like this before, and at this point I'm just feeling really dumb about it. One of the whole reasons that I bought the HVAC system that I did was because they had such a great warranty on it. Now, I have totally voided that warranty just because it slipped my mind that I needed to have maintenance checks done on it regularly. The only thing that I would have had to do would have been to call up my local heating and cooling company and have them come out to the house to double check and make sure that the HVAC unit was working correctly. That would not have been very hard for me to do at all, but for some reason, it just slipped my mind. I am really losing it as I get older. This would have never happened to me ten years ago, but these days I feel like I am just not at the top of my game when it comes to stuff like this. It’s really true that you start to forget things when you get older! It’s really annoying and I am so mad that my HVAC warranty doesn’t work anymore. Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone to blame but myself!

I’ve decided to hire a new family owned heating and cooling company to fix my air conditioning system for me. I have recently been using a larger, corporately owned HVAC company to do all of my heating and cooling work for me at my home and at my office, but they just aren’t personal enough for me. I know that larger companies have more clients and so they just can’t afford to spend all of the extra time and energy on developing personal relationships with their heating and cooling clients the way that family owned companies can. I have recently been reevaluating my life and I think that personal relationships are more important than saving a little bit of money every now and then. And that is why I had decided to hire A new family owned heating and cooling company that just recently opened up here in town. I know that family owned companies are well known for being up close and personal with their clients. Honestly, at this point in my life, that is the kind of relationship that I want to have with any business that I come in contact with. I would like to make friends with and feel comfortable with any company that is going to be coming into my house. I have heard good things about this little family owned HVAC company, and so I'm going to give them a try. Hopefully it works out for both of us and we can have a good working relationship from here on out. I am willing to give it a try.
Whenever the weather outside started heating up, our central A/C system tore up! That’s just the kind of luck that I always seem to have, though. It’s always something with me. I sometimes feel like I have a dark cloud hanging over my head like someone in a cartoon or something. There is always something going wrong around here, it seems like. Back in the fall whenever the temperature outside was cooling down, my furnace broke down. I thought that that was an annoying coincidence back then, since I was trying to save up money to spend for Christmas presents and I ended up having to pay for a major furnace repair instead. But now that it’s almost summer and the weather is heating up outside, my air conditioning stopped working. That’s why I am beginning to think that there is a cosmic force working against me or something! There is definitely something going on here because no one else that I know has luck that is as bad as mine. Now I’m going to have to pay the HVAC company to come out and repair the air conditioning for me. There’s just no way that I can go without air conditioning for any length of time so I’m just going to have to deal with the cost and let them fix it. I just can’t believe how things keep on going wrong for me. Sometimes I wish that I could just catch a break once in a while. I guess I’m just feeling sorry for myself with all of these repairs that I have to get done.
I’m pretty sure that the ductwork in our office has never been cleaned even once. The building management does not really seem to care very much about things like that around here most of the time. I have been working here for about 10 years and I could count on one hand the number of times that I have seen an HVAC company here for any reason. I’m really not sure what happened recently to make them change their minds, but something must have happened. When I pulled into my parking spot one day last week, I noticed that there was a big commercial HVAC truck parked right in front of the doors of the lobby. When I went inside and asked what was going on, they said that the HVAC company was there to do a complete ventilation system cleaning for the whole entire building. That was really surprising to me, seeing as how they have neglected the ventilation system in the building for over a decade as far as I know. However, I was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, and I was glad to see the HVAC professionals going back and forth with all of their tools and supplies. The commercial HVAC team worked on the building for about a week, and by the time they finished, the indoor air quality in the building had noticeably improved. I am really glad that the management of the building finally decided to do something about it. It certainly improves the work environment, that’s for sure.
